Cookie Policy
This policy explains what cookies www.milestonesocial.com uses, what they do, and how you can control them. It follows Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) and the guidance of the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. It lets the site remember things about your visit — which pages you looked at, whether you are signed in, what preferences you set. Similar technologies such as local storage and pixels work the same way, and this policy covers them too.
Cookies we use
| Type | What it does | Consent needed | Lifespan |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keeps the site secure and working — page delivery, form submission, load balancing, remembering your cookie choice | No | Session to 2 years |
| Functional | Remembers preferences such as language or region so you do not have to set them again | Yes | Up to 1 year |
| Analytics | Tells us, in aggregate, how many people visit, which pages they read and where they arrived from, so we can improve the site | Yes | Up to 2 years |
Third parties
Some cookies are set by providers we use rather than by us directly:
- Squarespace — hosting, security and built-in site analytics. See Squarespace's own cookie information for detail.
- Google — where Google Analytics is enabled, for aggregate audience measurement.
- Video platforms — if we embed a showreel from YouTube or Vimeo, that provider may set cookies once the player loads.
We do not control these cookies. Their providers set their own retention periods and purposes.
How to control cookies
When you first arrive you are asked to accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can change that choice at any time by clearing this site's cookies in your browser and reloading the page, which will bring the banner back.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Every major browser lets you do this — look under Privacy or Security. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working.
Consequences of refusing
Declining non-essential cookies does not restrict your access to this site. It only means we lose anonymous data about how the site is used.
